OKWU takes down the Buffaloes in a competitive scrimmage.
In the scrimmage played this past Saturday, the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles defeated the Buffaloes with a score of 4:1 in front of a little over 100 people in attendance.
The Eagles came out very strong in the first half in which they scored all of their 4 goals in the span of 25 minutes. FC Bartlesville got on the scoresheet with 5 minutes left in the game thanks to the goal scored by Jovan Petrovic.
The head coach Luka Milicevic said this about the game "This was a great opportunity for us to play against a program that is well established in the NAIA division. Right now, we look like a team that got together today and put on the jerseys hoping to get a positive result. I am very pleased with the players I will have available for our first season. We will clean things up and learn a lot from this. Congrats to OKWU, they are phenomenal.
The Buffaloes are back on the field on March 30th when they will travel to Coffeyville to face Coffeyville Community College. The kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
