Buffaloes Complete Preseason With a Win

3/30/24

FC Bartlesville - Coffeyville Community College 2:1

Buffaloes traveled to Coffeyville, Kansas for their last preseason game where they squared a very competitive Coffeyville Community College. The final score was 2-1 in favor of FC Bartlesville.

“It took us 5-10 minutes to get into the game but after the slow start we had complete control of the game”. Said Coach Milicevic

Perica Obradovic got on the scoresheet after a quick passing combination that left him alone with the keeper for an easy finish.

Perica was under the spotlight again when after a great move he was fouled in the box for a penalty kick. Kirill Pakhomov took the responsibility and was calm and collected to extend the lead to 2-0.

Coffeyville was able to score after a set piece with 2 minutes left in the game.

“We were extremely motivated today. The league kicks off next week and we wanted to go into the week feeling confident about our team” added coach Luka.

The Buffaloes will begin their UPSL journey on Saturday, April 6 at 5:30, when they will play Arkansas Legacy at the Custer Stadium here in Bartlesville.
